Secure Designs Selected as Finalist for 2016 NC Tech Awards

SDI has been named a finalist in the 2016 North Carolina Tech Awards in the ‘Corporate Impact’ category.

The NC Tech Awards is North Carolina's only statewide technology awards program, recognizing companies and individuals who have characterized excellence, innovation and leadership, presented by the North Carolina Technology Association (NCTA).

SDI provides Internet security for organizations from 5 to 500 employees as a complete, outsourced Internet security department. SDI works with thousands of customers nationwide, delivering high value, affordable protection against the rising tide of cyber attacks and vulnerabilities that threaten every business in the country.

“Since 1995, the NC Tech Awards have honored companies for outstanding achievement in the tech sector and use of technology. As a finalist in this year’s awards, SDI has distinguished itself as one of the state’s technology leaders,” stated Brooks Raiford, NCTA’s President and CEO.

A review committee comprised of non-profit, media, education, and technology leaders representing various regions of the state selected this year’s finalists. The awards process culminates with the NC Tech Awards Gala on November 10, 2016 at the Raleigh Convention Center where hundreds of leaders from across the state will gather to celebrate the tech sector and honor the winners and finalists in each category.

“Our strategy of providing our customers with ‘Value Innovations’ in managed security services constantly pushes us to pursue ever higher performance levels in all areas of business that deliver leaps in value for our customers,” said Larry Cecchini, President and CEO at SDI. “Serving the existing, emerging and future needs of the small to mid-sized business market demands agile strategies, innovative technical thinking and operational excellence – a challenge that our team continues to meet and exceed. We are very pleased to be numbered among this year’s NC Tech Awards finalists.”
