We have an ongoing, immediate need for the following:
Network Security Engineer (s)
The Network Security Engineer procures and configures firewalls for order fulfillment and coordinates installation of services. He/She will interact with customers and their technical team to be the principal "solution and resolution architect" responding to requests for service through the end user/customer web portal and telephone.
Respond to Customer orders in CRM and working with Provisioning Manager, apply configuration as defined by best practices and individual customer needs identified in site survey process - Receive customer calls and web portal requests for assistance regarding changes, questions, upgrades and problems - Assist in timely resolution of all calls while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction - Confirm that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems - Escalate unresolved customer tickets to NOC Director for further investigation - Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken - Confer with customers by telephone or in person to provide information about products and services, and to obtain details of issues - Improve overall customer relations through technical delivery and communications and other support skills - Maintain proficiency for technical responsibilities, through self-directed training and training programs - Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate must have a strong need to achieve continual technical proficiency. The candidate will be confidant and detail oriented, with excellent customer service skills. He/she must take initiative, working independently and as a part of a technical team. The following skills/experience are a requisite:
Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience with IP network technologies.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field of study, or equivalent experience.
Effective listening and verbal/written communication skills.
Experience in the telecom industry a plus.
Security vendor-specific certifications and/or experience a plus.
